Has started oil for my kid around 1 month back, I am seeing good results. Dr. Khadar vali suggested to use these oils for atleast 3 months. Hoping for better results after completion of 3 months. apart from oil, we are using millets occasionally and reduced the packed foods, wheat and diary products.
We are using 3 spoons daily early morning on empty stomach,
We are following this cycle
Niger oil - 3 days
Sesame oil -3 days
Coconut oil(cold pressed) - 3 days
We are purchasing from mesmara online store.
Crossed 3 months of usage, we can see lot of improvements. Few are
- speech ability increased
- better eye contact
- less hyperactive
- able to communicate well with other kids
- better grasping of studies
- skin condition is improved, no lotions were used in winter(surprise benefit)
FYI some parents are advised to use green pumpkin seeds, planning to start.
Hi Santosh. I went thru the Mesmara online store. For coconut oil and sesame oil, there are two different types of oils. Like for sesame - there is hulled and black sesame oil. Which cocunut and sesame oil are you using for your kid? Please let us know
Diet-wise we limited items which having Wheat and Dairy products. We are using single polish rice. Millets we are giving once daily (either breakfast or lunch/dinner). In lunch/dinner we preparing like pongal, in Breakfast we are giving with mixing in idly/dosa batter.
In Mesmara we purchased sesame oil (white), virgin coconut oil (sun-dried).
Coming to improvements now he is getting understanding logical reasoning, asking questions, improved vocabulary, and a bit better in social interactions. Still need to overcome behavioral issues and attention-related problems.
Thank you so much for responding to my query. One last question, do you give curd to ur kid. My kid doesn't have milk, but he eats curd rice. Can I continue to give him curd along with millets.
Thank you all,
Due to covid we completely stopped taking therapies from past 1 year. Recently around 1-2 months back we took him for evaluation and Therapist confirmed that he doesnt need any therapies now.
Even my son loves curd rice, yeah we were not able to restrict him on that. As per Khader vali garu we need to restrict dairy products. Atleast we are using farm milk instead of packet milk for curd preparation.
Sent an email to tsnap299@gmail.com, please check.
Hope I am helping with my inputs.
Thank you Rajini, Since many are asking queries, I would like to give some introduction about our situation. We shifted to Pune in 2016 and we took our son for evaluation after finding some irregular milestones related to his growth. The doctor confirmed him with ADHD. We have tried English medicine for 1.5 years (Suggested by Pune doctor), then Homeo for 2 years (local doctor) and then shifted to Khdaer varli gari diet. For us English medicine was able to suppress the hyperactiveness (Risina syrup), but once the medication was over he will back to hyperactivity. It's of no use to cure the root cause. Homeo was better effective than English medicine, Though its slow but we were able to see the progress. Later came to know Khader vali garu through youtube videos and thought of giving it a try. I can say the results achieved by Homeo in 1 year is almost the same as results achieved by following his diet in 3 months.
Few things which really helped us other than the diet
Shifted to Hyderabad in 2019- which helped him to interact with other kids in Mother's tongue
Since the admission was rejected in the normal school, we took admission in a special school (Carlin school Nizampet Hyd), Therapies are available within the school.
Due to covid we went to our hometown, family members are relatives keep on interacting with him and engaging him in activities round the clock
No usage of mobile phones (No means No)
My wife immense efforts and He has a little sister who is very active and talkative and her support is immatchable
Things that worked out for us may not work for everyone, but at least it can give an idea of how to move in the proper direction. I am happy to help and if anyone wants to interact with me I can be available on phone/email, but cannot share my details here on the public platform. Maybe we can have a telegram group.
Thanks SatishGKumar garu. Glad that Dr Khader's Protocol worked for you. Are you giving just oils and millets (and no decoctions)? Why Im asking is I tried to follow this protocol for some time but couldnt continue as my kid was not tolerating millets continuously for more than a week. My email is repreddy@gmail.com.
Can you pls post me ur email so that I can get in touch with you to know more.
Hi ,I want to share one thing here.We all are sailing in the same boat and helping each other .My child too was suffering with moderate autism symptoms with speech delay, screaming, self biting, poor eye contact and very hyperactive. Yes it took years as he is grown up now and every minute was a challenge. Even it was more frustrating when ur own relatives and neighbors used to pass comments on u and ur child. We went to the national institutes, many centers ,even so much medication was given ,but every time a new challenge came.Later on we came to know about BEMER therapy in hyd given by a center in kavadiguda.,one of my friend from usa told me about it and asked me to give my child.I gave this therapy for more than two years and surprisingly my sons major problems came down.Yes we also followed diet and also gave him therapies which we were giving before also.
The best changes were getting independent, speech improved, understanding also improved alot,he helps me in house hold works and became very socialized.Still few challenges are there but I m very much satisfied with bemer therapy. It opens up the blockages in micro vessels ,and supplies more oxygen to the neurons. It also helps in eliminating toxins from our kids body.
The best is its very comfortable and there is no side effect.in studies my child has improved alot.
