Hi miraclev,

Your post is inspiring to mothers like me who are in the same boat,my son is 2.10 months we are suspecting he might be on the spectrum(still waiting for the evaluation) he is mostly speech delayed he can speak only few words and understand minimal directions.Recently we started bio medical treatment (Dr Daniel rossignol in usa) last week, started with folinic acid,Sulphur energy and going to start on MB12 injection from next week and running lot of test as per dr suggestions.my questions how long will it take to notice changes after the treatment started and one more thing currently I am giving homeopathy(Dr ranga sai) should I continue bio medical along with homeopathy?

Could you please explain your journey in detail I believe you live in usa...
Could you please explain how effective is bio medical treatment

TIA

Homeopathy has helped some kids. in our case we dont know whether it helped. if you are not seeing any improvement in max of 6 months then there is no point in continuing it. But believe me you need to be very careful with food what our children eat. irrespective of whatever treatment you do if the child eats chocolates, pastries and pizzas, buns, foods with preservatives, food colorings then treatment may not be as effective as it should. Cook food in home... cook food in home...  give real food to children.

Rossignol is one of the good doctor. i think you are in right path and right age.... 2.10 is still a good time... hang tight.. wait for changes to see 2 to 3 months. are you on any GFCFSF. if not try it. Be vigilant on the food thats going in.
Make a diary to see if there is any improvements or any healing regressions or regressions actually.
MB12 will help in speech.  homeopathy+biomed... i dont know.. may be dr.ranga sai is best person. But our siddha doctor said "he has no issues" in doing both siddha & biomed.
keep us updated,

best wishes

Thanks Miraclev for all your input looks like you have tremendous knowledge on this.
We are cutting down on the milk, yogurt, ghee and bread related products but he loves milk and yogurt so we are planning to give him 1 cup of organic yogurt everyday and we are mostly giving him gfcf food other than occasionally milk and yogurt sometimes.
Is there any website where I could find indian gfcf recipes.
Are you still doing biomedical for your son?
When you started bio medical how long did it take to notice the improvement in your kid?
How effective is ST and OT?(Still I don't understand how much they will train Him 30 min session)
How effective is mb12 shots?have you ever tried it on your son (how long will it take to notice the improvement after the shots)(as per as I am reading for some kids it work for some it might not work?
We are planning to send him to regular daycare from next month but I am really concerned on how much he will cope up I am really scared but he is not learning anything if he stays at home ( we are really worried about his school could you please suggest on the school)
Do you know anyone who takes treatment from Dr rossignol?

I know I am asking too many questions but I hope you will understand my situation

TIA

Hi Maggy

Guess you can give ghee and cook with coconut oil.

Is there any website where I could find indian gfcf recipes.
i dont have one now. you can make try seaching for millets receipes.

Are you still doing biomedical for your son?
yes, 1st time ; 6 months last year , took break 3 months and 2nd time : last 3 months and going on

When you started bio medical how long did it take to notice the improvement in your kid?
anytime between 2 weeks to 1 month we saw some improvements with appropriate food, any treatment 3 months is the basic time  required.

How effective is ST and OT?(Still I don't understand how much they will train Him 30 min session)
OT and ST , not only trains kids... it is a serious tuition to parents on how to deal/enhance/nurture skills that our kids posses.
30 min session is not useful if you are not applying it to your kid rest of 23 hours. so be careful on whom you choose as your ST or  OT.
Its not about money..but its time we learn and apply to our kids. try to intercept how your child learns. is he a visual learner or any different.

How effective is mb12 shots?have you ever tried it on your son (how long will it take to notice the improvement after the shots)(as per as I am reading for some kids it work for some it might not work?

we are not getting pure form of mb12 in India, you can try with akhil foundation... in US/UK i think you can get it.

We are planning to send him to regular daycare from next month but I am really concerned on how much he will cope up I am really scared but he is not learning anything if he stays at home ( we are really worried about his school could you please suggest on the school)

day care can help, yes they may struck with ocd's if they stay in home. its good to engage them in different activities.
But its parents responsibility to spend as much time with kids and do any form of play that helps them.

Do you know anyone who takes treatment from Dr rossignol?
i have read in many forum about rossignol and his research.

@Maggy2018,

Pls share ur experience with dr. Rossignol. Our kid is turning 3 next month and is on spectrum. We are still on confusion state to GO with Rossignol.

And for GFCF diet , I have seen improvement with my kid once I cut down milk product completely, he started responding.., Try almond milk... if you are following CF, u have to completely cut it down, don't offer 1 cup ( just my suggestion)

@miraclev, I have some concerns regarding ST. My kid has lots of words ( echolalia - he knows numbers, letters, colors , shapes, animals , vegetables and fruits names, etc)  Our speech therapist Is suggesting us to use SIGN language and PICTURE, but I feel / want my kid to talk functionally instead of pointing at picture or using sign language.  Therapist says that he will eventually start speaking when using sign language. Somehow , I couldn't agree or take this positively.

Hi Chialse,
We had our first consultation at rossignol medical center in Florida two weeks back consulted salma ahsan (she is a doctor at rossignol medical center she is the one who is taking first time patient appointment in Florida),everything went good had around 2 hrs of consultation mostly talking we need to explain everything In detail.she ordered lots of tests(blood, urine, stool) still waiting for the results and prescribed some medication.
So overall experience is good but these people are too expensive (per hr she charged $475) nothing covers from the insurance,we have a follow up appointment next month

TIA
