Just thought I'd share some info that I got and results that I have witnessed first hand with you all.
Friends of mine opted for chelation for their son who is on the spectrum. He's approx 2.5 yrs old and had issues with speech etc.
Heavy metal tox screen is something that I believe is inaccessible in India. However, there is a place in France that does it. In my opinion, that would be the first step before opting for chelation of heavy metals. Ive shared the email id in another post but here it is again. They are very quick to reply. Email id- contact@labbio.net . The cost is roughly 100 euros and DHL in india sends urine and other biological samples to France. They need some paper work which shd not be a huge hassle to obtain.
Now to the doc who does IV chelation and nutrient infusion. There is a doc named Dr. Paul Lam in HK who does this. Roughly an 8 day course. This link shd give you his clinic number as well as timings and add. http://www.finddoc.com/en/doctor/info/lam-kwun-lai-paul-2026
The child he has treated showed enormous progress with respect to his speech. It went up from a vocab of max 20 words to 100 + words in weeks! I was so amazed and am personally going to pursue this option in the next few months. My son who will be 3 in a few weeks has almost zero speech, barring 3-4 eligible words in english. He's been given a mild asd diagnosis. Speech aside, everything else incl intellect is intact.
I will share more info on this thread as and when I get it. Hope this helps you all. Keep the faith! Our kids rock!!
i was doing chelation using rectal dumps for my son but nothing happens.. Labbio reports on Jan 2017 shows same amount of heavy metal as it was on Feb 2016.
Hi ma'am..
Dr B Pathak here... My son is about 5 years. Having autism.. Inspired by your experience with heavy metal test and subsequent chelation therapy.... I wrote to the lab in France...
They have replied back...
Ma'am please let me know is the porphyrin profile is same as heavy metal test and porphyrin as you suggested ? Because they have indicated as porphyrin profile.
Thanks a lot ma'am.
