My Son is in Class 2 . He does not copy his classwork from the board

Hi friends,
If has been 4 years that my Son is going to a school but he does not copy his class works. I tried taking the classworks from his friends and making him write those in the house., thinking he will realise that he has to finish the work even if he does not write in the class. But he got into this habit of dong his class work at home. I used the white board like the one he has in his class rooms to give effect but of no use. I even tried to make him sit with his class friends and study but he kept on seeing what they were writing or doing and didn't do his work. Please suggest any way so that he can concentrate in his work.

Unable to copy from the board can be due to various reasons. Some of them could be:
- Poor visual memory
- Poor visual tracking
- Poor vision
- Poor concentration
- Low self-confidence
- Very strong memories associated with words to be copied
- Poor writing skills (pencil grip, sitting posture, etc) at school
- Poor handwriting/spellings leading to embarrassment in writing
- Poor sitting tolerance
- Glare/reflection on board causing poor sight of words

- remember and write
- listen and write

My Daughter is 5.6 she is in ukg. She is also not writing properly when she copies from black board or when I give for copy and write.... But once if she has learned then she can write fast...
Hi Aanchal my 7 years old son started writting when he was 5 years old.Now at 7 years he writes but not properly.His writting is like kg student..He doen's copy from board in school..i am worried about him.Could you suggest me a good occupational therapist in Delhi.
