My daughter age 14  has Learning Disability with mixed language disorder and attention difficulties , presently in a inclusive school with a shadow but with little or no education support from the school. We  do need to put her into a school that would give her the needed support within the school structure.  We are now looking for either a inclusive education  school with very  good SN support dept or a  dedicated SN school with more kids like her ie: ASD, ADHD...ect  where she would be under less pressure. Also looking for a SN support consultant who could guide us through the different schools we have already found. Appreciate all inputs ....Thank you. Annette

Hi Aanchal
We are in Colombo Sri Lanka, she is currently in grade 6 and will be going to grade 7 in January 2016, we are looking for an appropriate school in India, preferably in the South of India ie: Bangalore or Chennai.  We have seen that India has  very  SN supportive schools  like BIS , Trio, Treamis ...ect in Bangalore or Pathways , Arawali in Delhi. However
we need some professional educator who knows these different schools well to be able to tell us the plus and minus of each in terms of us choosing the absolutely right one for her ...at the first time itself
would you be able to introduce such a consultant to us ?
Thank You. Annette

In Bangalore you can meet Dr Sulata Shenoy (Turning Point), Chetana Keni (Aurinko Academy), or someone at Banjara Academy.
