moving hyerabad in december

My so is in class one right now ata reputed scholll in kolkata with Bengali as on e of his subject what should he do when he goes to hyderabad.will he have to switch to hindi .Will the scholl realize that he needs time to learn hindi? can u suggest some good ICSE or CBSe schools

Hi Tanisha,
If you are moving in December, it is better u teach you son hindi at home. He has lot of time. Even if he joins any school in Dec, he will be able to cope up easily.

Hi Tanisha,
Yes, your son has to opt for hindi in class 1 in ICSE or CBSE school. You don't have to worry as very litte is taught in PP2/UKG and the same thing will be repeated in class 1 too. Children will cope up very fast.

Schools will start from basics in Hindi in class 1. Some schools do take entrance test for class 1. You can tell the principal in advance about hindi. They will consider. Alternatively you can also prepare basics if possible. It is not a compulsion though.

I spoke to one of my neighbours who has come from Kolkata last year. She has admitted her son in HPS (Hyderabad Public School -ICSE) in class 1 last year. You have to submit your husband's transfer details from the company and a requisition form for admission before August if possible. Your son will be called for an interview /test if there is any seat vacant. The fee will be around 55K.

There are many good CBSE and ICSE schools in Hyderabad. If you could tell me which place you are going to stay, it will be ideal to suggest. There are more CBSE schools than ICSE schools.
