Nehru Smaraka Vidya Kendra which is known Bangalore International Academy is one of the most popular Educational Institution in the city of Bangalore was started on 12th February 1966. The institution owes its origin and development to the selfless and dedicated efforts of the founders of NSVK.
It was started at the time when Jayanagar, a fast developing extension, was badly in need of excellent educational facility. Actually it began with a humble strength of 10 children and since then it has been expanding.
The institution is named after Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru whose lofty ideals of patriotism and selfless services to humanity inspired the founders to establish the institutions on the foundation of those idals.
NSVK expanded into a multi-faceted Centre of learning, started Holy Mother English Nursery and Primary School in the Year 1977.
To add up to its feather, CBSE wing was started in the year Academic Year 2003-04 with the main belief that excellence in Education is the only way to build up a strong, democratic nation.
Keeping in mind the multi lingual professional and cosmopolitan structure of our city and also to create globalised education to inculcate qualities of integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance, compassion and to build bright career to our children, Sri D. Muniraju Chairman, BIA has been able to establish excellent academic tradition that are conducive to the development of children into useful and competent citizens.
Bangalore International Academy NSVK ® gratefully realizes that it has grown from strength only by the patronage of the parent and its well-wishers. Bangalore International Academy assures them that it will prove itself worthy of their patronage.

My Child is studying in Class X. He is studying in the school from last 5 Yrs. I saw magnificent growth in my child. He took participation in National and International Level Championships and won many medals.
Even in studies he did well so far. As the school is starting Class XI next year under CBSE Board, I am happy that my child will continue the studies in the same school and will make bright future.
I would like to give thanks to all staff, Teachers, Principal & Management for great support & services.
