I have my both kids studying at Vel's vidyashram....As a parent am happy they both are doing well in academics and extra curricular activities... the teaching is good... they focus on overall developement.
Am quite suprised by reading such reviews against the schools .... yeah this school does not charge huge fees structure unlike other schools.. they focus both on education and lots of activities .. they are soo many activities included in the school time table...none of the schools in near by area have ths facility... just because few teachers were bad.. for that matter any school will have teachers who are exceptionally well and few very bad.....does'nt make sense to blame the whole organisation...
Parents should come to reality rather being in euthopian world.. school is just a platform for the kids to start their education.. Rest all begins at home where parents should show keen interest in their kids upbringing..Stop this blame game...

Vels not knowing how to run schools for future generations, they are treating preKg's as regular school and usual class rooms, no out door play, it should be otherway 60-80% games and 20% of education.. but they are doing other way.

One of the Worst school I have seen in my life.. take any parameters..Academics/Infrastructure every where they have goofed up.... If you have a degree certificate you can get a job in Vels as teacher..they have recruited a lot of girls and ladies from the surrounding Slums and made them teachers!!!
communication is horrible.. I have not seen any teachers who can talk in English continuously for 2 minutes.... Toilets are like 2nd class unreserved toilets of Railways.. No proper communication to parents on time..... I have already moved my kid from there..
