shame on the quality of preschools

Dec 7, 2010 10:10 PM Share

hieee .....was just planning to visit little einsteins preschool in kondapur tomorrow when i saw pretty bad review abt the school from a parent who has admitted their child recently....i am thankful to all parents who take the time out to write the real truth abt these schools ...good or bad....first of all it gives all of us the choice to make a informed decision abt the schools we decide to put our children in and also it will hopefully make the authoroties of these schools cautious abt the treatment and services they are providing...which is very dissapointing ......a preschool is a place where parents are leaving thier children who are stepping out of their homes for the first time and this is where they are supposed to blossom and grow ..not only academically but also in their personalilities....the quality of good schools here are very limited and dissapointing  and thats a shame .........

i agree and heres another review of mine on little einsteins

We heard lots about Little Einsteins - especially from the beautiful website that proclaims it to be a godsend for most working parents. But unfortunately, the situation out there at the actual school was pathetic. It is set in a building and has nothing natural about it - except a patch of artificial grass - which the facilities lady said is being used by the children to play "freely". It could have been more than 20 *20 feet in size. They have 26 children in daycare, the elder ones sleeping all huddled up in one room, the music teacher (young male) sleeping in another room. I couldn't find a single teacher at 2.30. I saw a facilities manager and some decently dressed ayahs. The classrooms are messy, kitchen tiny - the lady who is sitting there wasn't able to convince us about anything. They do not have any activities in daycare if the child is under 18 months. They are charging probably to keep paying the rent in posh Kondapur area but the facilities are not good, not clean, not safe. Before you write me off as their enemy - let me state that I have nothing to do with this school - I went for a surprise visit to help a friend of mine take admission for her child and was apalled at the daycare facility.

hieeeeee mickey,
I owe you and paretree a huge thanks and a big applause for guiding me to finding the perfect school for my daughter....as adviced by you we have spoken to harsha and visited Manthan international school.....it seems as if finally our painful and tedious search is over....i loved this school. The staff, teachers and management is excellent and very polite and caring ....my daughter liked it so much that she didnt want to come out...the school is spic and span...with even little potties made just for little kids...the aayas are wearing uniforms and the overall ambiance of the school is one which reflects their care, concern and individual attention for each and every child. i am a very relieved mother today...will be sending my child to school from monday and i am actually looking forward to it....i have no anxities abt how she is going to be treated there and if she will be okey or not .....i feel very much at peace and have hopes that she will develop wonderfully here....three cheers to you ,yr site and all the parents who have helped me find this school ....and the biggest cheer to MANTHAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL WHICH IS THE BEST SCHOOL I HAVE COME ACROSS SO FAR.I hope a few months later i can still give such raving reviews for this school ....lets keep our fingers crossed for that.thanks again for everything.

Hi Mithai,
I have been reading positive reviews of Manthan International at Madhapur. You can get in touch with Harsha. His kid is studying in Manthan. He has given his contact number too in his blog.

Hi Mithai,
I am sure you will not be disappointed with Yash Birla's Globetoters in Jubilee Hills. But I think, it will be far for you. The fee per annum is around 70K for playschool !!

My neighbour enjoys going to this school along with her son as they have mother toddler program too.
