As I was still lazing around in bed, my 5 year old early bird shakes me and throws the newspaper at me. I thought he was just being naughty. But he kept shoving it in my face. I realized that there was something in the newspaper. Oh no, not another bomb blast or something. Then I realized what he meant...
The Chandrayaan had made headlines again. “In Moons embrace”. “Lunar Orbit Flawlessly”...etc.etc. He wanted me to read it and explain to him. Now I am not the big techie into space. Leave that for DH. But DH is not around. So gotta read and explain and that too all the astro mumbo jumbo in kiddie terms. As I sipped my morning cuppa, instead of the softer editorials (Gurcharan Dass , Jug Suraiya) or the Sunday gup-shup, I gotta read this stuff. I tell ya, what they make us do.
But you know what, it is expanding my horizons and keeping my grey cells alive. Maybe will keep an account of what all I learn from them and they make me learn. Wondering what all other folks have learned....
