Looking for schools in Bangalore for parents moving from USA .

May 26, 2010 2:42 AM Share

We are  moving to Bangalore soon and need some information about schools.  We have admission in three schools but cannot decide on any of them or the ones we have not  even applied too.  Here are the schools we have admission in Indus International school, TISB, Delhi public all in Sarjanpur area in whitefield . Can you suggest the pro's and con's for these schools.

We were also interested in the following schools. Treamis, Inventure -Academy, Greenwood, NAFL and Primus.  Can you tell us if it is hard for our kids to go to normal school since our son does not speak or learn any other lanuage other then English since he was born and raised in USA.  He is turning 10 yrs old soon.    Your ideas and input would be really appreciated please write about each school and their pro's and con's so we can be aware before we come and visit this summer.

Are there also places where we as parents can make friends since we are new to a different country and starting out life we would like some groups we can meet up with women who's kids are similar age group so we could build our friends.

Thank  you so much.  Concerned parent.

I have a query once a kid studies in TISB can he/she pursue undergrad in India or they have to look at only abroad options?

one correction :

3'rd should be Indus and 4'th Inventure

if money is not a concern, TISB is best, next would be NAFL n 3'rd Inventure.

Don't be over concerened .children usually adapt very well and even like India-as long as the parents don't fuss around a lot.
