As a mixed couple (wife Indian, husband Swiss) enjoying both cultures in our married life we feel it to be enjoyable and important for our children to experience both our cultures.Living in Switzerland we have plenty of that culture. Our chances to experience life in India (usually Bangalore) to meet family and friends and enjoy its culture and family activities is timewise a lot more limited. In the past few years it has been a few weeks to months a year. This years trip to India already starts in a week and we all are already very excited. For our younger son (5-months old) it will be his first trip to India - meeting finally his grandparents, ralatives and parents friends. We thought that not only for our two boys (5-months and nearly 4-years-old) it could be an invaluable and excellent experience to get to know a few families in Bangalore this time for first family-get-togethers and who knows if both sides are fine and happy that we could meet up again in the future and keep up the contact over time. We feel this could be great for both sides and that for our kids would be something to looking forward towards our future trips to India. We are looking for families with children in similar age range to meet up for common activities.
We would be in bangalore( C. V Ramanagar) for six weeks from 27 th sep until 5 th nov.

Found your post reaaly interesting.....great to know that ur kids are having such an amazing blend of cultures!! I have a daughter who is 14 months now......and I always try to make it a point to make her mingle with people, so that she gets more comfortable with herself and others around. Would definitely like to meet up with you guys....(though my daughter is not in the 3-4 year category) !! We stay on Old Madras Road,which is quite close to CV Raman Nagar (this is definitely an added bonus in Bangalore, where the traffic is horrendous!!).
So do let us know when u r here.......we cud catch up for a while...am sure it will be interesting to know each other !!!

We enjoyed to read your email and it would be nice to meet you all sometime soon. Sorry we didn't get in touch with earlier. The week was pretty chaotic.The family is in bed and there are only a few hours to go and then we are on the way to the airport. Thought we drop you these lines before we leave Switzerland.
