Hi ,

After reading many posts in the parentree, I thought it would be helpfull for all the hyderabad-parents, if we have a seperate thread schoolwise, so that the reviews can be grouped together.

I would like to start new thread to talk about sentia school. I recently joined my kid in sentia school.

> There is no donation/Admission fee

> 40k is the fee for Nursery.

> Good playground

Good Idea Giri. There are separate threads for so many schools in PT  but still we get to see new threads everytime. The new members are unable to locate in the beginning and  start a new thread instead  If i get to see any query about Sentia Ii will surely  direct the parents to this discussion thread.

It would be better if you could share more about this school in terms of academics, infrastructure, extra-curricular activities , student:teacher ratio , hygiene ,  PTMs , teachers , transport , kids behaviour  , fees  and keep the info updated so that it might be useful for other parents and  they could continue their discussion in this thread.

Regards,
Mickey

Hi, I re-located to HYD from US and this city being new to me am looking for some help out here. My son will be going to Standard 3. I have taken a flat in malaysian township so considering these have a few qns -

1. Is this school very far from Malaysian Township

2. Do they have enough teachers and how is their quality?

3. How do kids from US ways of schooling cope to the teaching style in this school?

4. Are there any recurring fees not told upfront?

5. Do they have good extra curricular activities?

Thanks

Hi Nicktoons,

Joemom 's kid is studying in Sentia school. Write to her inbox directly. As her kid is in  Sentia school I think she can give you more information about school.

I have joined my kid in nursery for next acadamic year.

hi spider,

yes, they are giving admissions for 5th stand.  fee is 60k per annum.

For me both play-ground and acadamic activities are equally important.

When I was looking for schools near by JNTU, I considered Maridian and sentia (schools which has nursery). I got good reviews about these two schools.

I preferred Sentia b'cos it has good play-ground than maridian (kukatpally).

Thanks Giri for your prompt response. What is the admission fee? Is this 60K inclusive of transport and food?

There is NO donation No admission fee in the school.

The fee 60k is only school fee.  (doesn't include transportaion, food, school bag books ....etc)

Hi Everybody -

I will be re-locating to Hyd in a couple of months with my daughter who is 5 yrs old and will be in PP-II ( or Sr. Kg). I am in lookout for good school with reasonable fee structure in Western Hyd. I am proposing to live in Jubilee Hills/Banjara Hills/ Begumpet or Ameerpet. Accordingly, I would be grateful if members of this Forum recommend some schools.

Thank you

Best,

Esquire

 Hi all,

I just want to write my feedback on sentia.

My kid is in nursery, started going to this school from jun,13th.

She is happily going to the school and singing rhymes at home. Last year she was going to other playschool where everyday she was saying that the work sheets are done by her teacher and she was not happy there. This year I can see clear difference in her. Everyday she is learning something in the school.

The staff is also responding well to my queries and suggestions.  As of now I am happy and have NO compliants about sentia.

Hi,

I am planning put my child in sentia. But the reviews are really confused me. Could anyone who joined their kids into this school write the review on this school, especially from higher sections.

Though my kid in 1 class now, as I am thinking to continue her to till 10th in one school, I am thinking again and again before joining her.

1. How about studies/ are the teachers are qualified? I observed in few schools where teachers are excellent in communication but not that great in teaching.

2. about extra ativities

3.  fee hikes.

Thanks in advance

I recommend sentia, my kids are very happy, with their teachers.I have interacted with them in several occasions, and they have good communication skills.

They have ample playground and various activities, my kids frequently participate in all the activities and were awarded with many certificates. The school really pays attention to make sure all the kids are involved in some or the other activity.

For the  last 5years, i.e since the school began, there was no fee hike till date.

Hi Mickey and others

Does anybody have an idea of how many class X batches have passed out from sentia? I saw in this thread [http://www.parentree.in/pujji/journal-8988/Sentia-the-global-school.html] that the school was established very recently. So wondering on this. And what was the overall performance of the batches passed.

Thanks for your reply.
