Good day. Wanted to know more about the avacado and their benefits. Have a few questions:
1. Can this be given for a 2.3 year old or is it for the toddlers.
2. Heard that avacado is a cold fruit, so can this be given in the early mornings as a morning milk shake.
3. pls suggest some yumm recipes using avacados.

Avocados have more nutrition than any other fruit. Avocados are especially high in protein, fiber, niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, folic acid, and zinc. Avocados get the share of their calories from fat, and while these are the heart-healthy monounsaturated fats with no cholesterol. The high calorie content of avocados makes them a good food for growing children.Another healthy fat that avocados contain are Omega 3 fatty acids. Because avocados are so nutrient dense, they are included in top ten fruits list.
The top ten ranking of fruits is based upon their content of these nutrients: vitamin C, fiber, carotenoids, calcium, and folic acid.
- Apricots (dried, unsulfured)
- Strawberries (organic)
- Grapefruit (pink or red)
3 cups rice
1 cup urad daal
1 big avacado
Soak rice and daal for around 4-5hrs. Grind them to a smooth paste, add salt and leave them overnight.
Discard the skin and seed of avacado. Grind the pulp to a smooth paste and add it to the batter. Mix well. Make thin dosas.
While serving, sprinkle some lemon juice on them and eat with honey. They can also be eaten with chutney.
