Private Vans for Omega International School - Page 1

Hi all,

Today we got admission in Omega international school for PRE KG.we r staying in nanganallur.Transport is not available for prekg upto nanganallur.Is there any private vans available?.

Omega MOMS pls suggest me. We are in a confusion.We asked to pay the fees by JAN 27

How about the school?. What is your review and feed back about the school. What is the timings for pre kg?. I am staying abroad, in chennai i am belongs to nanganallur area. I also have a thought of seeking admission for 6th std for my son in Omega. If transport available from Nanganallur either by school or by private, i may try to apply in this school.

so fr i heard,the school is far better than psbb millenium.hope they are doing good.

For Pre Kg timing : 9:00 to 1:00

As you r seeking for 6th std ,timing from 8:30 - 4:00

from I std to Xii std,transport is available in nanganallur.for pre kg they are not providing above 7 km radius.so i am looking for it.

Yes, I am seeking admission for 6th std. I am planning to apply. Online application is available only from 3/Jan.

How about their academics, extra curricular, sports,games, spoken english?. Did you check with the school about this. What is yr opinion?

 Hi, am new to this discussion. I hv also applied for Pre-KG in Omega for my daughter, interaction on Jan 28th. Geethuma, are you sure, their spoken English is good? Yesterday when I walked across the girls' hostel, I was impressed with the kindergarten kids walking in a row, each one holding the shoulders of the kid in his/her front. But I was disappointed when I heard the teacher say, "pasikkuda, vanga snacks saapidalam". I am afraid if spoken English is not practised in the school as a habit, that too, it being an international school. Can someone please clarify? I am really worried. Thanks.

The education is good and there is a also lots of extra curricular activities and most of the children in our locality go to this school.   The class rooms are spacious and the teachers are kids friendly.  No harm in trying if you live in the nearby area. 

 I reside in Saligaramam, but would soon be shifting near the school, once the admission is confirmed. Pl lemme know if u get updates on their language in use. Thanks.

My suggession is, since interaction for your kid is on Jan/28, defenitely many parents are will come on that date. New parents as well as old students parents. You can get clarified with the parents. If you meet any of the students also, you can talk to them. So you will get clear idea about their spoken english.

Check with Devi Karumari Travels @ Nanganallur - Mr.Uma Shankar. It is near by Anjaneyar Kovil Bus stop. Check with him whether any vans are available from his travel agency. If not ask him to suggest any other Private Vans service. He will be having lot of contact with other Private travel agents also.

I too got admission in omega for my daughter in pre-kg. I am worried about their communication skills. Got mixed reviews. One more problem is also there, about their food. My daughter have some food restrictions, due to health reasons. I am totally in dilemma whether to choose omega or pon vidyashram kolapakkm. Please intimate me if you know further details reg those issues.

  As you have posted that Omega is better that PSBB M. Can you share some aspects of comparsion as it would help in decision making.

@GeethUma -. I also talk to Lalaji Memorial Omega International School Transport Department. He told me that they don't have transport facility from School to pick up and drop the Childrens from Nanganallur area even for the higher classes Ist std to XII th std for the academic year 2011-12. I am planning to come to Chennai within a weeks time. @vijinarsi ..i heard from the parents only...i know some parents moved their kids rom psbbm to omega last year..omega is better in all aspects.

geethuma:i dont think so ... psbbm is better than omega on interpersonal aspects........

What is the fee for LKG.. Am looking admission for my kids 1st std and LKG. i heard this school is related to Ramchandra meditation centre. is it right ?

My kids waiting list for LKG is 57. i enquired the school and i didn't get any positive feedback. Any body parents are above my waiting list and if they get a call please post your message.
