B G Academy School- pain in the neck - Page 1

Hi,

Parents comming to IT hub Pune and residing around wakad area...please beware not to step into BG Academy. Its just a STOP from all angles in the growth of your beloved child.

Donot get carried away by the ground or arear they have...it all they own and has not being delveloped for the past 7 years insipite of promises committed to parents over a period.

Good qualified teachers hardly survive for more than a year.....also donot get carried away with the lost talks of big things. its all fake.

they have very funny deposit scheme of which you become a trap after joining the school and paying the amount.

they charge a heafty amount for activites whcih is totally nil and doesnot carry activites which amount to Rs100/- in total for the whole year...

every staff in the office admin changes frequently thus parents greviences remains unattented for ages unless u take a dicision to quit school and force settlement.

they have no extra reccirular activites, no open house, annual day,no debates etc etc...

in short a best alternative for a day care....where schooling is big ZERO.......school strength is never more than 5 kids from 3rd std becoz by that time parents realise and move out....thanks for new good school cropping out in this area.

Completely agree with you... I had my kids in BGA and I tool them out 2 years back.. Princi .. Mam Koyna is very arrogant lady and none of the teachers like her in the school.. She is one of the reason why the school is not doing good.

I have my daughter in LKG in this school and I am quite satisfied with her progress. Also the school did have science symposium and lots of extra curricular activities and filed trips.

But all these reviews are giving me a lot of tension because I am unsure if I must continue to send her there for 1st standard too or not?

Thanks for your valuable review about B G Academy.I had almost filled the application form.Please let me know about this good school in the locality you mentioned in this review. We will be staying in Pimple saudagar and looking for a good school for our son who is 4.5 yrs old.Please suggest.

  HI, Just because this thread mentions BG Academy, and i had just called them to know more about the school. Can anyone tell me more about it? Heard from one parent, she seem quite satisfied with the school and all the activites that the school does have.  Would like to know more as there are mixed reviews here!

Go anywhere else but BG Academy...

B G Academy --We gave two years for them to improve. Nothing changed. It went from bad to worse. You won't get your Deposit back, so beware. Parents will be forced to take their transport( exorbitant prices) even though kids live next door/lane. You will be forced to take their meals ,in the name of equality but would get substandard meals. No strength in the class room which has forced them to close higher standards. Parents be aware it is nothing but a financial firm trying to rip you off. I would not recommend this even to an enemy, hence taking time to make sure all parents are well aware of the risk they are taking.

 Ok. For all those people who discontinued with BG Academy can u pls tell us which schools did u opt for? It will help parents like us to get an idea.
