And also if some one help me good schools near adyar, besant nagar, Vannanthurai.. I am currently in Bangalore will be shifting next month to Vannathrurai / Adyar

hello poorni , if i am not wrong , u wanna put ur child in a school. Sorry Poorni, though i dont have any personal experience, i come to kmow from others , is not a good school. A new school, wanna do lot of things but infortunately doing nothing. One of my parentree friend will shift his child from A school. Xoz she is not at all satisfied.

But decision must be taken by u. I just share what i know. Coz its a matter of our child.

  Many thanks for sharing this info. Few hours back i read the reviews posted for Aschool in parentree and it was 0/10 and even i say that very worst comments from the parents of A-school. i completely dropped my plan.

   Now i have to look for other alternatives near velachery/Guindy. Do you have any idea of good schools in and around?

hi all,

i'm in the searching process for my 2 1/2 year daughter for Pre KG.

I checked with Besant Arundale (CBSE) they have asked me to come and get the application from in november and submit it by december 1st week. looks like they will give a call in feb.

i also checked about SBOA and heard that they get some capitation and recerve the seat and then while issuing the application they admit the child to the respective class.

for PSBB the application is issued in november.

I spoke to arsh Vidya mandir and did not even like the way they responded. so lethargic in responding. they wont even disclose the date of issuing the application, fees structure nothing...

wont we be happy to get the comments of experienced hands???... I wish parents who have put their kids to Pre kg or LKG last year can help us by sharing their experience on the process of admission in their respective schools..

i have planed to put my child in Sunshine montessori school.Its at velechery. If u wanna know anything about the school just read the page of sunshine montessori.

it was started by umabala. she will help u out the way she help me. her daughter is in that school and doing rwally well.

Application form will give in the month of december.  if its for Pre-KG the cut-off date is november 30th 2008. application they will give only one day. you should stay in within 3kms.

My son is 1.9 yrs now. D.O.B: 14-Dec-2008

I would like to put him into pre kg. But when we checked with PSBB, the age limit they specified is 2.6yrs as of 1-dec-2010. Not sure. Someone in the forum mentioned that they called up last week & it was said 3yrs as on March 2011. Different response from the school authorities. Can anyone, please share your experience on the right age criteria for PSBB.

Also DAV & SBOA CBSE has pre KG? Please help out. Thanks.

I callled Arsha Vidya mandir , Guindy lastweek.

There is no Pre kg. The age criteria for Lkg is 3+ which is a good info for me as my daughter will be 3.4 by June 2011. They have asked to see their website from December.

Any idea when PSBB KK ngr issues appln for Pre kg and LKG??

schools like psbb, dav, national public school, jawahar vidyalaya, p.s.senior, chinmaya vidyalaya have the age criteria as 3years 6 months as on 1st june. Whereas schools like vidya mandir, bala vidya mandir, chettinad vidyashram, have the age limit as 3 years as on march 31st  for lkg.         I want  to know the age for schools like sankara adyar, st.johns mandaveli, maharishi vidya mandir, bhavans rajaji, arsha vidya mandir as my  kid was born on march 2008.

I would like to know whether A school from chettinad foundation is good? And if so, shall we continue our kids till their higher education. what about their higher class assurances. Have they started any higher class in  any places?

Also i want to know more about DAV Annanagar and SBOA  Anna nagar

Do they have pre kg in them?

If so, where and when to get the application?

My Kid  will be 13 days short of 2.6yrs age eligibility as on 1st June. His D.O.B is 14-Dec-2008. Will they give applications considering it is 13 days or we need to try only next year??
