I've booked a tour to North India for the summer vacations. I got charged for 2 adults although it is just me and my 4 year old son.
Seems very unfair. I could easily have an additional small vacation in Goa for the extra amount I paid!!
Any suggestions from anybody for future trips?
Would anybody know of single mom groups in Mumbai? (not online groups. Ones that actually meet). Please do let me know.

She does tours for women and kids are allowed upto certain age. I did Ladakh with them and am quite happy. You get good company too.
Their itineraries are fixed so you choice may be limited though.

Thanks for the info ... I will definitely check it out .... none of the ladies I know are remotely interested in travel (with or without kids) ... this seems to be a good option

Nice to know that you are interested in travel too, inspite of a kid ... I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong with me :D ... have been looking (unsuccessfully) for company for the past whole year !!!
Kesari service is too slow ... in two weeks they were unable to do much .. I switched to another tour operator and got everything done in 3 days and 3 days phone calls !!!
I would definitely like to try out WOW .. the website was impressive ... if you are interested too, maybe we can plan for something together !!!

we are human beings and wanted to relate with eachother if we have common concern.
The world is much larger to crib about life. It is only that what we wanted from life. The greatest thing for a women to happen is being the mother. Just enjoy the motherhood, take help from the surrounding people. Most important to balance home life with work . Always try to laugh and joke with the kid they will be happy to see the happy mom. Just hv few trusted freind , meet them regularly to talk about your daily activities. I have three women freinds the best time i catch up is at the park over a walk.
