Good CBSE school around Vadapalani - Page 1

Hi,

We are currently in Bangalore and getting transferred to Chennai. I would like to know any good schools around Vadapalani, Virugambakkam, Velachery, Guindy. We need addmission for my daughter who is going to 2nd std.

I have checked with few schools (DAV, Velachery & Chettinad Vidhyashram). They said the admissions are closed long back. Kindly help to find a good CBSE school around these areas.

Hi,

Normally all schools admission will be closed in the month of Jan itself. u can try in PSBB (K.K.Nagar), kendri vidyalaya(near Ashok Nagar),Pon vidyashram(laxmi nagar,valasarawakkam).

But you have come to chennai at go to all these schools personally explaining your situation.

Thanks for the response. I will travel to Chennai to visit the schools personally and try.

BTW, is PSBB not very costly? I heard they will charge exorbitant fees. Is it true?

Also how is Chinmaya Vidyalaya? I heard its a good schoold though a little far from Vadapalani.

Now almost all the schools are charging same only. May be minor difference but the std will b very good. My daughter is studying in ponvidyashram. First year u may need to pay donation but subsequently u have to pay only annual tuition fees which is affordable only.

i donot have any idea about Chinmaya Vidyalaya fees structure. I would check & let u know.

chinmaya is a very good school as far as academics and value education is concerned. only that sports does not find prominence but presently i hear even that is improving. children learn more moral values and our traditions are respected better in this school. its a good school for primary children.they will surely grow up to be good kids. it is not as costly as psbb or pon vidyasharam. but admission closes in jan. may be you can try for next year. try for application in the first week of december.

I heard that Pon Vidyashram is issuing forms for LKG. I tryed to fin the address but it's not clear.

It may they have more than one school. If you don't mind can you please share me the school address which will be near to Ashok Nagar/Guindy ?
