@   Confused100 hi u live in gottigere??? i am quite familiar with that part of blore as i use to go to a college in bannerghatta road and believe me its impossible for a kid to travel all the way to palace road daily....there are some really good schools in koramangala or hsr layout....think over :)

Can anyone share about the selection process in sophia's? I stay in rt nagar and my kid is 31Jan09 born. got the application today from sophia's but reading this thread, it looks like luck plays a major factor for the kid to get selected.

@divyapallavalli - Looks like for time being they have limited their document request for birth certificates. But i am sure they will ask for all the documents that dharamjrb mentioned once the shortlisting is done. By the way when is ur submission date?

@ dharamjrb - Just wanted to know from you how many days after the last date of submission do the school authorities initmate parents through post?

@ divyapallavalli: Hey thats nice. Our submission is also on Feb 1st. Hmmm looks like many of us on this forum will get to interact (hopefully) in person.

Also wanted to know if anyone has idea about the total number of student intake for nursery?

I wish all the parents on this forum a very good luck and a very Happy New Year.

Do anyone know how is the academic results of this school in ICSE etc? How much does the application cost. What family background studnets study in this school. Is it normal middle class or upper middle class and rich only. i have the budget to pay the fees for this school like Rs 70000-80000 per year. But I dont want a school for my child where only rich kids study. Any feedback will be appreciated as I am new to Bangalore. Thanks.

Hi Friends ,

I also got the form on the 2nd of Jan... I went at around 2.30pm and I was the only one to collect the form, later on 2- 3 more people came.... I kept wondering why this hype of standing in line for the form from  6 am..Was just wondering whether it has any bearing on the selection process, I mean the form nos...

My date of submission is on 3rd Feb... Am planning to shift to Bangalore in the month of May.. So will have to travel from Mumbai to BAngalore again on the 3rd just for the submission of the form...

Hello Friends, those who submitted the forms on 1st , pl share ur experiences, how was it... did they ask any question or interact with the kids... I'll be leaving for BAngalore in the evening .. my form submission date is tomorrow...

@ Sadaf - as it has been mentioned earlier in the post the child just needs to be her normal self n not cry etc... As there is no interview of the child so there is no specific requirement....
