Which area in Pune will you be living in? Depending on that you can narrow your search.

Are you planning to send your kid to a prep school for the time being or you would like to try seconday sholl with a pre-primary section?

In the later case it will be difficult to get mid-term admission, as the good ones have closed admission (Bishop's, St Maries, PPS, DPS, Vidya Valley).

Some are still admitting, like Vibgyor, RIMS, Lexicon, CIS, Orbis etc. Now they are either exhorbitant (Vibgyor, RIMS) or bad schools (Orbis, CIS). If you are OK with the expense you can try the first two.

There are some very good prep schools too. Sapling Nursery is one of them.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot for the response. I am very greatfull for the time you have given

I am aslo not looking for a very expesive shools, being from a middle class. I am looking for schools with normal or moderate fee str.

I am relocating to Magapatta area, so I planning to take house in the near by area only.  Even if i can find some good school i wont mind travelling 10-12 km for office, still I am not aware of traffic conditions and places in pune.

Thanks again for the coperation and a very usefull information.

Magarpatta has its own ICSE school. They only allow children of bonafide residents. Fee structure moderate and quality of school is OK.

Other two nearby schools are Pawar Public School (very good; ICSE) and Amanora School (Average; Not yet affiliated to any board).

City Intl School is with 5-6 km. This is below average but easy to get admission. They are affiliated to CBSE. School does good academic result, but very poor in infrastructure. No playground and dingy rooms.

One school you must avoid is Orbis school. Wrong people in the school management, with no integrity.

There are more schools in Undri. You may try them too. These are within 15 km from Magarpatta.

Another school you can check is Aman Setu. They have different kind of framework and many people like that.

 Thanks a lot.

I am also quite impress about the school aman setu and its review. I have not so far read such a good review about any school.

I dont have a problem staying a little away from office if it result convineance to my kid. I have so far zero on Aman setu, VIbyor and Indus World School.

I looking for more options, yet.

again very thankful for your suggestions.

 :-(

Hi All

All of a sudden i got that I am landing up in hijwadi, which is almost the other cornor of the pune (based on discussions with my friends).

I just know from the surfing that Pawar Public school is there in hinjwadi. Please provide your suggestion for Hinjwadi area as the school in the magarpatta area will be too far. I am looking for a medium range school in the magarpatta area.
