 Well hello.

I have always been a passive reader of the forum..

But now that my kid has started her playgrp I feel like utilizing my time fruitfully.

I am a sw engg with few years of exp but took break to be with my kid, and now that shez busy I feel like going back to work.. However I am always amazed to see ladies who efficiently manage KIDS, HOME and JOB. After such a long break its really gonna be tough for me to leave my comfort zone and move my cheese a lil further.

But going back to IT job demands more time and dedication, so have been thinking of some franchise options to start a business. Well both have their pros-cons but I am kinda of more inclined towards business since I would be the person who is in-charge and also wuld have some flexibility in work timings to suit me n my kid..

I have been thinking to taking up some Preschool Franchise.. I know these days pre-schools have popped up like mushrooms but while I was searching playschools for my kid I couldnt find any  school that met my expectations of a perfect playschool.

Anyways going back to the point, one more reason that I have behind preschool setup is – its limited timings. I would be free from the daily routine maximum by 3 / 4 pm which would spare me ample time to spend with my kid.

So to brief the discussion I would add my perspective on pros and cons of job n business

Frens please share your views and help me take a wise decision.

I also would like to know good daycare options in and around Magarpatta. Let me know your first hand expirences.

Have a good day..

Namita

Hi Namita...it seems you are seriously considering a change...I must say...any startup is tons and tons of work...especially with children services...add a zillion tons more.

It depends upon ur skill set in education field and prior expriences. How is the market in ur area for play school...what sort of quality is expected, is there any competition....do you have a parent pool intersted in ur services. Marketing cost these days are skyrocketing.

Wherelse on job front...i m thinking...flexiwork, work from home, virtual offices as well as working mother options have come up big time with IT companies...so do explore those too.

There are other activities also which you can look into besides playschool..which can be more managble.

I hope you find amazing ways to spend time with ur child at the same time keep your self engaged with personally and professionally enhancing activity.

Good luck!

Jalpa

hi, namita.... i was sailing in the same boat when i concieved on that day itself i was feeling so nostalgic.. and sickk.. then too i continued my job fo rmore two -three months as my health did not responded i left my lucrative job.. and after that .. i have never been able to join in that field... but i started doing event organising since last 8 years.. and gradually and slowly i m very happy with it.. i can give my time to my kid my family and also to  my workk yeh u r true money is less but you have that satisfaction for doing something then doing nothing.. so i will prefer if u r planning to opt for playgroup francise go for it.. it vl be real satisfying i m sure for it..as far as money is concerned you always have to see ur family first... good luck this is just my suggestion hope u come to ur right conclusions good luck...
