Writing Habit and School's Responsibility - Page 1

My daughter is  turing 4 and yet to start writing. She is in LKG and even there is no emphasis from school to write. Is this the same across schools and what is the good start point for the kid.

Now a days, almost all top schools do not make the children write till they go to UKG.More emphasis is made on coloring so that the children get to hold the pencils and obtain good grip for future writing.

so do not force the child to write.Give her lots of stuff to draw and color

Hi Aswath, dont worry about writing now,...which school is ur daug in? generally schools starts writing from the second term,....children are comfortable only around 5yrs,..
