Hi All,
Can anyone list me good CBSE schools in and around Puzhudhivakkam. I googled and could not locate any specific school in that area. Can someone help?

@sprightee:i stay in puzhuthivakkam.... there are no cbse schools in this area.. my son goes to psbb millennium gst rd from here. if u wanna try some other schools nr puzhudivakkam u have modern school in nanganallur. u only have matric schools in madippakam
Hi, There is a DAV school in Brindavan Nagar which is CBSE. I think Sunshine is also CBSE. Not sure if Navadisha is CBSE or ICSE. PSBB Millenium in GST road is CBSE.
@svaram:hope there is no cbse school in puzhuthivakkam . but sunshine premises in puzhuthivakkam has from class 1 .navadisha is in velachery.. and dav is in adambakkam...
Considering vyasa vidyalaya junction as the centre, I think, the schools listed are not very far from each other. I am not sure whether Sunshin offers from KG or 1st, but we can pretty well check the out in the school's websites.
From the Vyasa junction I am talking about (that has 3 atms- sbi, axis and hdfc) in a row, i think DAV, Navadisha and Sunshine are pretty close, even though they are "geographically" said to be located in other areas.

Till which class in Sunshine, montessori teaching is followed and from when is CBSE adapted?
@sprightee: psbb gst rd is 2-3 kms from puzhuthivakkam. sunshine nursery is there in velachery near baby ngr in velachery...in puzhuthivakkam campus its from 1st std..
@sprightee: i am not sure about DAV. But I see a mad rush for admissions to that school. Some kids from my family study there and they are okay with it. Doesn't seem like they have an issues. The school has been there for many years, because my husband's cousins have studied there too.
Btw, which class are you looking to admit your child to ?
@michaelrenny1: How is psbb millenium ? i found it slightly on the expensive side. Which class does your child study in ? I am currently on a lookout for a good playschool for my kid. He is 1yr and months now. Planning fo rvijayadashami admissions. Any suggestions ?

join ur kid only at 1 and half years in -playschool that too to early ..join him by two... btw whr do u stay so that i can suggest good play schools...

@sprighttee:getting admission is difficult they have lots of criteria ..but u can get it if u apply.... education is gud there...ur house should be within 3-5 km radius...

Not much choices left. Need to consider other schools in Velachery which may fall close by to this place. I would be damn lucky if my kid gets into PSBB M. Apart from the admission fee(i think it is 35K) and term fees(which comes close to 37K) per year are there any more payment required?
@sprightee:there is no other fee other than the mentioned ones...by the way admission depends on lot of criteria.

sorry, i am very late in replying to your response... i stay at puzhuthivakkam. Near the bus terminus. By vijayadasami my kid will be 1 yaer and 10 months. So i thought it will be ok to put him in a play school. Please share you experiences. How old is your child and where does he/ she study ?
