my 8 months old daughter is just 6 kg in weight. I'm giving her solids and NAN. Her birth weight was 2.3 kg only. I'm seeing doctor but he says its OK, just do your job. She is quite responsive and started saying da-da, ba-ba.., waving also but not able to sit on her owm.
Any help / suggestions to increase her weight?
Have you started giving her cheese?My daughter's weight improved because I ensured she gets cheese everyday.Good for teeth and gums.High in protein and fat.
Hi not to worry My baby is 1.2 year old her weight also less 6.8 Kg. she start to sit about 11 month old now her growth move fast compair to early so not to worry and give healthy food.
Weight has to do nothing with neck holding or sitting. You better consult a child physiotherapist and take his advice.

My daughter had the same weight as yours and believe me i was the most worried mother but it should be fine its just we are unnecessary grilled with the new check up system. it should be like how our mother who never went for any routine check up untill we were 1...
