I have been following the discussions in this group for a long time although this is my first post. I'm looking for admission to my kid in Pre-KG(2013). Now she is 2 years old. I prefer PSBB Millenium(Gerugambakkam), Omega(Kolapakkam) and Pon Vidyashram(Kolapakkam) as my office is in DLF. And the school preference order is also as i've entered.
Can someone comment on these schools. WIll PSBB be best compared to other 2 schools. I saw that Omega infrastructure is very good. How much will be the donation in these schools?
Please share your ideas.

@sprightmy kid goes to psbb millennium .psbb millennium issues application form from october...so keep checking....psbb millennium is best when compared to all the schools.....

How much is the fee for Pre-kg in Omega? ANd hough tough is it to get admission? Any recommendation/donation is expected apart from admission fees?
Friend told me it is about 35-36 k for pre-kg(as snacks,lunch,transport are optional) aprroximately.
Actually he is a north indian ,so no recommendation.He didnot paid donation too.
The girl is going to LKG now.Where do u stay? I stay in velachery.Planning to shift as required

@ deadlock: I stay in Ekkattuthangal. Will be shifting next year close to school premises based on admission.
michaelrenny1 could you please tell me what are the factors you considered and say psbb millennium is good because i met parents of th kdis studying in both schools and found omega is better in the sense it has balance between curriculum and extra activities.whereas in psbb millenium nofocus on academics

@deadlock:who said there is no focus on academics.... if u expect nursery kids to excel in academics then u are wrong.... they are taking step by step approach..the exposure that the kids get in psbb millennium is tremendous...if u are looking for overall development in ur kid then psbb millennium is good.... for me all the kids whomever i have interacted with, excel in their personality....if u r keen on academics only then i think u have wrong perception towards development.....

I am not a kind of a person who is running behind marks.But still i donotwant to get into this personal discussion anymore.
There are schools in chennai which equally balanc between curriculum and extra-curriculum.Even in thiswebsite you can find lot of negative feedback about the school.
@deadlock:the school is renowned one..for me, since my kid studies there i see overall devlopment in my kid.... only becoz of that we see 10,000 applications for admission for that school...ask the parents whose kids study there rather than taking a view who does not know anything about the school......
@deadlock:psbb is one school where u have sprts palyers like sharath kamal,ashwin,badrinath as well as top executives of fortune companies....u can see people excel in all the fields from that schooll...............

I'm also interested in PSBB Millennium school. I would be looking for admission for 2013 Pre-Kg for my daughter. I heard that the schools have a criteria that, we should be staying within a radius of 3-5 KMS bear the school we choose?
How relevant and how strigently the schools follow this nnorm

Even I am looking for admission to my kid in Pre-KG(2013) in school around Manapakkam/Ramapuram. As far as I know both PSBB Millemium and Pon Vidhyashram are run by the same group and they are money oriented. If you are closer to K.K Nagar try PSBB K.K.Nagar.Can someone list the best among the three schools mentioned below

@premasathya:yes the school gives admission for those who stay between 3-5 km, radius. they r very stingent on that..they will issue application by october on their website so pls do check it...
