 Hi Anchal,

I have a 19 month old baby.. My bundle of joy is friendly, easy going and very expressive...

But there are times like today when she is cranky and very clingy if I may say so.. Just not ready to leave me for a second...

I am a stay at home mum and am with her all the while.. But sometimes I just fail to understand this behaviour.. It becomes pretty difficult to keep a cool head during one of these episodes:(

She isn't unwell n all her needs are being taken care of then why these tantrums?

I know its a phase n she'll be alright when she wakes up but I needed to get some insight into this plus some advice on how to keep a cool head..

Thanx

Su

if this helps you at all, children at this age are by default moody

if she is overall a happy and relaxed child, there is nothing to worry about. you might want to check yourself during her tantrum phases, so that your negative response/frustration/worry/anger/sadness doesnt influence her mood swings in any way
