HI Moulya......

This question will be best to shoot to your doctor......who can guide u thru all the possible merits and demerits of high BP. U can google and find out more info on this.

There are some facts which needs to be taken care in this situation:

1. High BP pregnancy is considered as high risk pregnancy.

2. Thruout the pregnancy mother has to take proper medication to keep BP under control..fluctuation of BP is not good in pregnancy.

3. All BP medicines are not safe for pregnant women.....so its adviced to switch over to pregnancy safe medicines.

4. For most of the high BP patients.....doctors advice to go for C section.

All the best!

hi piakuashik,

thank you for your reply, i have consulted the gynaecologist who has taken care of my first pregnancy an delivery too, she said there isn't much to worry as i do not have second level BP, so i can go for second with some change in the medicine,

Again i have consulted one more famous gynaecologist too  with regards it, she explained better not to take chance as already  i have a High BP, she suggested to be happy with one baby.

i had decided too for a single baby, but now my baby is feeling lonely, i dnt know what to do. she doesn't have any cousines as well. so am worried very much.

Hi Moulya...

DId u asked the 2nd gynec that why u should not go for the second one? Did she justified her answer? My suggesstion wud be to verify the reasons what she tells and then decide.
