Sorry if i'm interfering in your decision.... but couldn't stop myself from replying. TV or any screen viewing affects the child's brain development. esp in your case, child being an infant. It has lots of harmful effects on child's development... Please avoid any screen time at such tender age... Please don't make the mistake of introducing it yourself. Also search for discussions in parentree on parents complaining about children b'cos of their excess TV time..

i agree with roshmom, completely. why would you look for DVD for a 4 month old child? there are many things you can do with him/her without relying on any visual media at all. what an infant needs from the parents for best development at this stage is lots of love, patience, cuddles, hugs, coos and care. check this link

Good ideas by RoshMom and Aanchal. You can also get some Rhyme Audio CD /melodious music Audio CD which would be soothng for the baby.
