After school care for older kids - Page 1

Hi,

I am a working mother, with an 8 1/2 yrs old son. I used to send my son to day care since he was 2 1/2 yrs old. Now as he is grown up, i just wonder if there are any after school care centers where working parents send there children. I have enquired and browsed pretty much and didnt many older kids going for an after school care center.

I wonder if all working parents are lucky to have elders at home to help them. And I am really scared to leave my kid with a full time maid at home(thanks to all the scary news nowadays).

I am in a dilemma from the past 1 yr whether to quit my job and be a homemaker, or just wondering if I get a good place for him to spend after school.

Please suggest if any of you were in the same boat and found a solution. Any info would be of great help.

Dear sunitha, where do you put up? And whats your work timings?

We stay near Marathahalli, and I work from 10am to 7pm.
