I am not sure what to feed my 9 month old son for morning breakfast and evening snacks. he is bored of apple, bannana, carrot ..Please suggest me some more recipe which babies like.
you can introduce him to bread or chapathi soaked in milk.
u can also grind musili or wheatflakes into powder and mix it with milk and give it, But i hope you know the rules to introduce a new food. go easy and go one at a time. try with very small quantities
Here are some recipes I used to giv my kid......
Baby Moong Dal Soup: Suitable for children 5-6months Ingredients: 2 tablespoons yellow moong dal Directions 1. Pressure cook the dal in 1/2cup of water for 2 whistles. 2. Add an additional ½ cup of water to the cooked dal and liquidise it in the mixer. 3. Strain the cooked dal and serve it lukewarm. If you feel the cooked dal is too thick for the baby it can be diluted with boiled water. Wholesome Veggie Khichdi: Suitable for children 7-9months Ingredients • 2 tablespoons rice • 2 tablespoons moong dal • 1 tablespoon bottle gourd, grated and peeled • 2 tablespoons carrots, peeled and grated • 1 peppercorn • 1 clove • Pinch of turmeric • ½ teaspoon ghee • Salt to taste • ¼ teaspoons cumin seeds Directions 1. Wash the rice and the dal together and then keep them aside. 2. Heat the ghee in the pressure cooker and then add the cumin seeds. 3. When the seeds start crackling add the bottle gourd and carrots & Sauté them for a few seconds. 4. Now add all the ingredients together, add water & pressure cook for 3 whistles(depends on the thickness u want). 5. Serve lukewarm.
