 Hi,

I have a six year plus old son and looking for a good school in BHEL and Lingampally area (I live in BHEL MIG). I returned from London recently. the fees in international schools are very high (at least Rs.1 lakh 80K per annum) and not sure if it is really worth paying so much, so I am looking for good schools with state or CBSE syllabus. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

100% is just waste of money paying 1 lac. there are some good schools with normal and a little high fee.

1. CLAPS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, MIYAPUR

2. UNICENT PUBLIC SCHOOL, BOLLARAM ROAD, MIYAPUR

3. ST. MARTIN SCHOOL MIYAPUR

4. TRIVENT TALENT SCHOOL, MADINA GUDA

thanks. only problem is the transport, since these schools aren't very near from BHEL MIG (unless there is a school bus facility).

My kids go to Gowtham and I have seen their building in BHEL too near BSNL telephone office once i went there...not sure how close or far it's from you...it should be pretty good and reasonable.

Of the 4 mentioned, i think 3 are too new to trust...triveni maybe a little older..heard their preprimary infra is good..not too sure abt primary/high school education

tried the following. I think it is too late now. I am starting to get worried that I might have to join my son in a low standard school because of lack of vacancies in good schools.

1. Gitanjali public school (admissions closed)

2. Maharshi vidya Mandir, Kondapur (need to pass entrace test first)

3. Chirec public school (admissions closed)

4. Bharatiya Vidya bhavan in RC puram(admissions closed)

5. St Anns school, BHEL (admissions open, but not sure about the standard)

Hi Krishna,

If you are fine with the fee structure for Chirec school, then I think you can also check out Phoenix greens. They have their school from Class 1 onwards in their new facility in Kokapet and also have transport. I think from BHEL you can take the route on ORR to Kokapet, so you can just check out the school. Of course its a new school only started about 3 -4 yrs back, so feedback is kind of mixed with some parents liking it very much for the primary classes while others have some concerns with it and moreover with higher sections ... So you can visit the school and check for yourself if they are still open for admissions or not. Their primary campus for PP1 & PP2 and also the admissions block is on Gachibowli main road, lane beside Commisionarate Office.

REgards,

Priya

BTW ... the fees for Class 1 in PG would be abt 1.03 Lacs payable in 3 terms which includes tuition fee, mess, transport etc. ... I think there is a one time admission fee of around 60 K or so ... I forgot the exact amt as I had been there sometime in January ...

I didn't know about the fee structure for Chirec school. Rs.1 lakh would be way beyond what I am looking to spend (less than Rs.50K per year is good for me). that's close to the international school fee structure. thanks for the info anyway.
