If you are already a member of Parentree but want to link your Facebook account to Parentree, go ahead and click on the Facebook Login option. Ater that you will be asked to link your existing account to Facebook.

 Hi,

If you delink your Facebook account from Parentree, you cannot login to Parentree.

Delinking your Facebook account from Parentree should be done on Facebook.

To delink your Facebook account from parentree:

1. go to facebook.com

2. Click on the "down arrow" at the right top and select Privacy Settings from the dropdown box.

3. In the privacy settings page, go to the row "Apps and Websites" and click the corresponding "Edit Settings" button.

4. In the edit settings page, go to the first row "Apps you use" and click the "Edit Settings" button

5. In the apps edit settings page, you will see Parentree listed as an app. You can delink the two accounts by clicking the "x" button for the Parentree app.

Yes, that is why I stated above "If you delink your Facebook account from Parentree, you cannot login to Parentree. "

If you want to login to Parentree again, you need to re-enable Facebook connect by clicking the Facebook login button on the login page and approving the required permissions.

This is so non user friendly... I don't want to log in using my Facebook. I want to keep my life on fb and par entree separate. Is there a way to only log in from parentree???

Seriously this is a breach of privacy violation for me....

U can create a separate Login ID on parent tree without having to login via facebook. Thats what I did.  Click on the Join link at the top.
