Can anyone give review on Global India Internation School Uppal Hyderabad. I am planing to put my son KG1 and coming sunday we have counselling at GIIS before that will be greatr if I get any feedback on the school

Form and Registration Fee : Rs 1500
One time Admission Fee : Rs 15000
Anual Fee Rs 10,000 PA
Term Fee Rs 10,000 Per Term ( 3 Terms)

Books & Uniform Extra
Most importanly GIIS is having 9 branches in india in all metro Cities and 8 countries and they allow internal transfers to international branches also.

How is GIIS, Uppal - I saw reviews that weren't good except, campus and infrastructure.
I plan to join my kid in 1st standard, please provide any inputs you have on GIIS, Uppal.
Giis uppal fees are very high . For 6th std 55k + transport 20k . More than 1.5 lakes am spending for my two daughters . Looking for alternative good cbsc school around dilsukhnagar & nallakunta
I think for international school 55k in 6th STD is reasonable. DRS is charging 90k for Nurserry , DPS 60k for nursery
School is going to start from 13th June 2012 aftr that only I will be able give more feedback but as of now I found school management is very cooperative.
I stay at Domulguda for bus route when I approch school immediately they sent their Transport manager to see my place and plan route for my kid. Now they are going to provide me Door To Door pick and drop facility.
GIIS Uppal is NOT a good school. They change teachers so much that it's difficult to keep track.
If you are particular about your child studying everything and understand each year's syllabus well, you might find their concept of "revisions" annoying. They look for the easy way out and give the students "sample questions" a few weeks before the exams. I've seen my son become lazy term after after because he only wants to study the selected questions.
Some teachers are nasty and rude and will humiliate your child if he is a slow learner. There have been complains from other parents about bullying among the students too.
Among all the international schools, this might be a little cheaper but to tell you the truth this is not really an international school. The school is traditional and orthodox --the whole environment actually is very "Village like" Not cosmopolitan at all.
I wouldn't suggest this school if you are looking for an International standard but if you are looking for an ordinary, regular school in Uppal then it might be ok.
