Hello All, I am currently staying in USA and will be thinking to move back to chennai by next year. Planning to start my kid studies in Chennai. I am looking for a school which follows activity based teaching. From my home psbbmillenniumschool and HLC international is near by. Please let me know if you have any suggestion/feedback about the same.

i am deepa. my son is studying in bharathi vidyalaya. we are also planning to shift him. hlc has a good reputation. we have not received any negative remarks about thm., padma sheshadri in L&TEdan park will be better. but the school buses are not coming to medavakkam. My friend's son is in BVM they are satisfied.

thanks deepa for your reply. If I am correct you are referring BVM bollinenihillside , PSBS millenium. Correct me if I am wrong. We are kind of concerned as my kid is studying here in USA and not sure how she will get adjust in indian chennai school. I hope HLC suits for her. Please let me know if you have any more info about the school.

BVM is in bollinenihillside, PSBB Millennium is in DLF garden city. PSBB (without the millennium) is in L&T Edan park. all of them are in the same ares 4-5 km radius.

I am to sorry to bother you...I need to have a clearly idea before I select the school becauase I need to buy the application form from here USA itself...thanks anyway..

psbb millennium has three here. Gurugambakkam, gunidy and DLF off omr. Padma sheshadri has one or two own its own, with out any tieup. that i dont know. they have started their new school in L&T twonship in siruserri.

In which grade would u admit your son in India. My son joined BVM Global in 2nd grade after finishing his kindergarten in California.You need to take a test. The teachers are very good. I was worried about Hindi but now he is at par with his classmates.

Could you please share your experience abt t school. What is the fee structure? when our kids need to take t exam to admit. How was the transition for you after you move to India and indian schoolin? Yes both my sons are in BVM @ Bollenini Hillside. The elder one is in Class 3 . He joined in November last year -class 2. The test was simple. He did his preshool in Challenger and Kindergarden in one of the best schools in California. So I must mention he was at par with the early 2nd graders of India. I taught him Hindi alphabets. Many children in these schools have returned from USA. So the transition would not be dificult. The teachers are very good.Fees we paid 1.05 lacs (24000/- admin.. fee+41000-tutuion fees+40000-refundable deposit).They have uniform only on monday, remaining days they were casual clothes. They have air conditioned classrooms. So for most part of it, it is like the USA schools. Let me know if you need more details.
Aruna, thanks for your kind words...we are kind of concerned how the transition is going to be in there. Do you know when we need to get the admission form. Is there a way we speak to anyone of the school admin or principal to clarify some of the queries. Is the school near by Sithalapakkam? We are thinking to move only next March only due to some project deadline here. Is that correct the time? Please let me know.
