Dear Parents,

Hi all...I am new here and this is my first ever discussion on this forum.I have two boys aged 6 and 2 yrs .My elder son studies in DPS.I want to know how many parents advocate the conservative CBSE/SSC Indian education? As for me, I would vote for the conventional education against the 'IB' syllabus.your views please...

I am also personally not sold on the IB Board, having said that I also do think that it may be good for the first few years of education . I am not in favour of sending kids to these big schools right from Nursery, but the problem we do not seem to have many choices.

I would have loved it if my kid could have gone to one of the Montesseri  schools or even IB school till UKGand then to a mainstream school from 1st Std. But since you are carrying a risk - will the child get admission in 1st, so we get them in from a young age into schools where there are 30-40 kids ina  class and the drilling begins from the age of 3 :)
