Please guide me -my son is in fct intt in doing research in science- He has just done 12th exams- as the iiser and nisier are also going by jee mains score, he has per force to appear for jee mains though he is not very keen to enter iit s as such. He is in fact interested in any Centrally funded institute.

he normally gets 85-90% marks this far. He is not good in objective type exams with time pressure and getting low in practice tests and may do poorly in the jee mains. But he got selected for  the all india amature scientist award.

which shows he got good analytic skills.

Now is his hope to enter any CFTI for research finished once he gets poor rank in jee main?

sri chaitanya/narayana has got  a system of assessment which is much superior to others and putting students with similar intelligence levels in a class room after assessment of their intelligence levels

the other schools as you know simply dump all in same class room. This makes dull duller and the intelligent also duller. it is good for the average child.

6 or 7 would be the right age for playing drums as hand dexterity is very important to play drums which will not be well developed at 4. He should also be able to reach the pedal and control.  To sustain his interest till you put him in classes, you can get him a junior drum set to explore.

5yrs is ideal to start any activity. You could always try at 4 too. There are no hard and fast rules.  

No idea about Drums classes near KPHB. There is a  good Music academy in Ameerpet SM Music. May be you could get pointers from them. I know a person who teaches tabla and gives home tutions and also comes to Hi-Tech city for Kybd and Tabla. He is quite good. If you are interested , I could give you his details through inbox.
