Hi All -

   I am a new joinee in this Site - I have a 3.5 year old kid - I tried to join him in the CBSE Schools at Nugampakkam, but i was not able to get admission - So i joined him in Don Bosco- Egmore - in LKG - I am worried as it is State board and i doubt on his conceptual learning - I have big dreams for him - Hows the education in this school - Can any of you please explain me - Or Shall i try next year again in the CBSE schools?

Idli topped with sambhar...dosai topped with sambhar...kuzhipaniyaram with onions and grated carrots,savoury veg french toast...I am trying to incorporate varieties for him...but he is a fussy eater and loves to drink only milk :(

I also heard tehy are very choosy about giving admissions. One of our friends are very much in praise for the school and we are trying to give it a thought. Since we cannot predict the future of the kids, its a tuff decision to put them in such contemporary schools. Please share ur thoughts.

I give my kid any of the following 3. mostly she takes it, although very fussy.

-> Warm idli with sambar and boiled vegetables in sambar. Add ghee and gingely oil to tast and try giving it hot.

-> Lemon rice made from well boiled rice with gud amount of ghee.

-> sambar rice with ghee

-> adai - crirspy with lot of dhal

Frnds plz suggest me good breakfast which the kid can easily eat in the morning..

my kid drinks only milk...and eats her food only  in the afternoon...and now i hav to feed

her something by morning...

  I am trying to enroll my 1.3 yr old daughter in a playschool and day care in pallikaranai. I found out Shemrock and Little Millennium admit only after 2 year. Also found another one named little ants, they are not answering the phone. One more is Kidzee which s very near to my house. And there is A school which is bit far off.

Anyone out here, please let me know your experiences in these schools or any others in and around pallikaranai.

Can anybody let me know whether there is any improvement in the location of BVM Perungudi? Did they stop dumping garbage? How about closing STP in Perungudi?

 plz give ur option about top 5 cbse schools in kk.nagar

Since i am now in chennai south, Urapakkam.  we have very little choice of schools, adding to that, standard of education is very moderate level and infra  is also a concern.

We have a Neelan matric, Sankara Vidyalaya- Which is well Know and now they follow the TN Samacher Kalvi.

And few CBSE Schools near to myplace ( around 6km ) is Estancia vidya mandir  and another one is GKM which is 15km away from my place. But they pref who stay in estancia, GKM is very faraway for 3 year old kid.

And one useless school called SSM memorial perugalathur- " I didnt like the basic morals of schools, they asking to buy a land along with school admission.  they utilizing the parents for their real estate business. " EVEN AFTER BUYING LAND ALSO ADMISSION IS NOT SURE.

And One International school " holy sai international school" which is less than 2kms - http://www.holysaiinternationalschool.com/academics.html  

Please suggest me whether this International school is worth of paying 40k per annum ?

  I have just been transferred from Kolkata to Chennai. Reaching Chennai tomorrow to search admission for my Son. My Son is in Class 4 & was a student of DPS, Kolkata.
