Too much stuff friends ...using all the skills to reduce it like taking DVD cover and putting them in DVD wallet etc., .we r taking help from every one to send it .....so it's all packing & getting our stuff back if not taken by the persons who agreed to take it....

Me coming to India for my bil's son Upanayanam (thread marriage ceremony) at Vizag . Main idea of coming is 1. As schools in India start in June to take uniforms ,books etc., & also talk to school people regarding our relocate to India in the month of July/ August & how to cover the portion. 2.Our apartment is at bowenpally & school at Kompally as I don't want to send kids by bus hv to search for house near the school either to rent / buy First mostly to rent or atleast to get some idea about the area where we can rent the house as its a new place to us . 3. To attend function at Vizag on June 2nd & 3rd ( as kids has to accompany their brother as thoda Pelli kodukulu )

Sid finished all the stages in swimming here in UK.....

some children fail to develop hand-dominance even at the age of 4. they use one hand for some activities while the other for other activities. generally the writing hand becomes the dominant hand.

have her color, bead, lace, cut, stick, draw at home freely. see which hand she uses more. allow her to establish the dominance now.

 I do not know about nutrilite. I have faced same problem with  my 4 years kid.

Fruits like apple, mango, papaya . sometimes he doesn't like eating fruits,  that I prefer for milkshakes or fruit punches.

Lemonade also boost  up their energy when they are playing. Ex strawberry lemonade

Dry fruits whatever  he likes give to him.

6 years is fine I had same issues with my lil on made her repeat Sr UkG but have to b done with great sensitivity

S1828;- Swimming is based on your age they will train you like first the parents will have to go then next stage will be like basic training just getting used to water,slowly they will start training when you are 3 years old and above..

My child is 2.5 yr old.His eating habits are OK.Due to admission to new school in last 1 and half month he tended to fall sick.I wanted to know can we give multivitamin/calcium/iron suppliment(like from Nutrilite) to such small age kids on regular basis? What can be done to boost his immunity through diet?

There is any suggestions do tell me  ..............

we just relocated to USA from India, 2 months back.  My daughter is going to montessori school currently. She is doing fine. I am in dilemma whether to send my daughter to public school for next year or to continue in the same Montessori school. Public school of my living place has 8 rating. 

We will return back to India after 2-3 years. 

Plz advice me. Which one is better option. Shall I send her to public school and join her other activities.

or

Continue her in Montessori school as acedemics are good in private school. ( so that she won't face any problem in future after returning back to India, where acedemics are important).

i need some help here and hope to find it. my daugther is turning 2yrs this april28th2013. now the problem is whether to place her in a pre school or a normal school. we live in kompally near suchitra junction, some schools like oakridge nursery age is 2yrs and others like chirec international is 2yrs 6months for nursery, whatever it is if i place her in pre school this year, she wil be 3yrs next year and should i place her in nursery in normal school or directly start her with pp1 ,wil she adjust to that? i am new here please help out, name some good pre schools and normal schools near kompally or bowenpally?

My 3.5 year old son is in LKG now, and before sleeping I found him to be very emotional he shares everything about the fun he had in his school van and the reprimands or praises he got from his teacher. 

Some nights he almost cries that tells he does'nt want to school that his teacher is scolding him and accepts his mistake that he did  not do what his teacher has asked, In the morning he forgets everything and will be eagerly waiting for his school van, and never in the day time he tells about his school. Is this common among  children.

he got angry and threw milk in the garbage as he dint like the taste... 

As said : 'Laalayet panch varshaani, taadayet dasa varshaani, praaptetu sodasvarse putram mitram ib aacharet' ( Fondle and love your child the first five years, discipline him for next ten years, and when he is 16 treat him as your friend).

may be its time for some serious discipline. Any tips will help..

My Son turns 3 years old by this April. Can you please suggest a gift for his age?

My twin daughters are 2.6 years old now and  going to play school. They have holidays in April-May and I want them to learn dance in this period. Reasons being the following-

• I teach them some simple steps and dance with them, I feel they are very happy  when they dance.
• I think dance is a good physical and mental exercise for them.
• I think they should have some activity planned for atleast 1-2 hours so that there is a routine and they have less time for destructive thinking. They try to dance on the songs they have learned in play school and enjoy it.

We are living in the Bilekahalli area. Any pointers to dance learning for very small kids are highly appreciated. If you could point to any dance teacher who can come to our apartment and teach a few small kids would be a huge help!

I want to get some feedback on following situation.

One of my friend is going to USA for job purpose.

His kid he will take with him there for 2 to 3  years.Kid is now studing in ICSC school and He is in Nursary.

If kid relocated to USA for 2 to 3 years and studied in USA.How difficult for him to adjust again the Indian school education ICSC pattern  after coming back from Abroad ?

Is there any parents here whose kids  has faced the same situation before ?

my son whose 4.5 years is complaining of a strange thing since last 1 or 2 months. it happens to him rarely. when he wakes up in the morning, for a few seconds he cannot see. he rubs his eyes, tries to open it wide open, but yet he cannot see. but after a few seconds, he can see everything. in the last 2 months it has happened atleast 3 to 4 times. i was told by a few people that it happens to kids in cold weather. today it happened and i was very scared.

please can anyone guide me on this ... has anyone experienced this kind of rare thing.

I m new to this group and i m basically from pune but right now m residing in USA.

MY daughter will turn 5 in march and so she will be in Sr kg according to India.

I just want to know syllabus of all subjects of Sr kg. As i m here in USA so i dont know what going on there in pune schools.

Pls let me know the syllabus so that i can get books from india of same standard

I am also planning a small vacation. If it is safe to mix, then it will be easier (and stress free) to arrange and feed him a flavoured drink.

Otherwise he is very creative,  always on the move...he loves dance & drawing very much...he has a cute smile...very caring n loving...he has very much clarity of thoughts...He is very active n alert...plus he understands engineering concepts well like electric wiring, structure of pipeline, machines etc. He is my little explorer...

He cries over small matters, is very shy n sensitive. If anyone says some minor thing also, he asks why u scold me, cries n makes sad face.. sometimes I get frustrated bcoz of his tantrums but at other time I show him that I love him very much by hug, kiss, play, activity with him etc...
