New Age Women-the hand that rocks the cradle

 Women of substance-we come across this word often. In fact women has emerged a lot with time. But have we really emerged? This is something we should think about.

Often in the name of modernization and liberalization we tend to forget our values, tradition, and we are gradually becoming more impatient. Today women are empowered with education, freedom of speech, and they are successful in all fields of life. But success often comes hand-in-hand with impatience and arrogance. I feel very proud to be a woman and even more proud of my mother whom I admire for her tenacity, patience, and perseverance. I feel extremely lucky to have a father who has given us everything........education, freedom, and also been a friend and a guide and I admire him for that. But we do sometimes take advantage of the freedom that comes so easily to us.

Today's "New Age Woman" is a mother, a daughter, a successful professional, businesswoman, and also a wife. Being a woman I think we have more responsibilities. Balancing both family and profession is difficult. One need to have perseverance and planning.
