My son is 1 1/2 yr old and he eats breakfast and dinner as i do some variety. But making him to eat lunch is very hard to me.Can anyone give me some varieties in lunch?
Happy to hear that ur kid has breakfast and dinner with ease.Then making him have his lunch will not be challenging.If ur interested in rice based varieties then try these:
Sambar rice:Boil rice(carbohydrates),toor dal(proteins),finely chopped mixed vegetables(vitamins and minerals),Do regular seasoning as u do it for sambar.Add few drops of ghee(fat).This is a balanced and nutritious meal too!
Curd rice:Boil rice in milk.Add 3 tablespoons of curd.Add to this grated raw carrots,cucumber,finely chopped mixed fruits(apple,pomogranete,banana,pineapple etc).u can even add butter or fresh cream for extra richness.
hi supriya, actually i have 1 child whoz age is 1 1/2 years, but still his not eating anything without milk, he eat only milk Biscute, milk shake, nachani satva and cerelac only stage 1, his not able to swalling easily , many time he vameeted. some time he like to eat wafer, curd and small pices of chapati. so you have some tasty tips for my baby?
Start with light khichdi which rice and dal shuld be overcooked. feed with small spoon add light salt. At first he will take only two three spoon. Than slowly start addind small piceses of carrot, finely chopped spinach, and some peas You can add 1 -2 drop of lemon also if he likes. Some flavours children likes some they can start liking at later stage.
If he likes milk based item You can give him khir again it shoul be thin and rice should be over cooked.
At 1 and 1/2 year u can also start with boiled egg. initialy give him only egg yolk dissolve it in little dal and then give.
