anybody tried the playdough in the home kitchen?
then I need some tips. As per the recipe, I used 2 cup flour, 1 cup salt, 2 cup water & cooked till a ball. I couldn't find "cream of tartar" in the malls as per the recipe. That day the dough was good. We made no of articles. but next day it became soggy. What should I add instead of cream of tartar?
Unfortunately cream of tartar is the secret and necessary ingredient to guarantee super, long-lasting dough.
In Bangalore you can find it in most Nilgiri's supermarkets. Otherwise if you have any friends or a husband who travel abroad, ask them/him to pick up a large number of packets for you . . . and your friends!
