The pomegranate is safe for sure. I had banana, apple, chikku, sweetlime.

Guava, grapes, orange, water-melon etc. are summer fruits. If taken in the night or in winter, they may cause a cold (I don't have that problem personally).

I made it a point ot have 3/4 varieties of fruits daily.

Raw (green, not the ripe fruit) mango is safe and many find it helpful for morning-sickness.

Cheers!

Hi Chinna,

Congratulations! on you pregnancy. In this exciting time it is quite natural to worry about your diet and you constantly wonder weather what you are eating is healthy or not. Please refer to the article Pregnant Indian women - Healthy foods. It gives you an idea about all kinds of food that you could eat during pregnancy including fruits, along with their benefits.

Hope it helps.

Hi I was told not to eat papaya and pineapple and at all and no to eat too much mango because it gives out a lot of heat.
