Hi goodpa, For which class ?? The olympiad school is from class 6 to 10.

The tests are generally a bit tough. If your kid is not from State syllabus, he/she will find it difficult es.p in  maths.  so it is better to prepare state maths before appearing for the entrance.

Hi Mickey, thanks for the reply. It is for my son for 2nd standard. Since it is from class 6 only, I was thinking of putting him in PB DAV Safilguda which is state board and then change over to Narayana. It is too early to make up mind for IIT, as he may aspire to become a doctor or anything else.

We are going to relocate from Bangalore and he is currently in an ICSE school.

 Hi Goodpa,

Sorry, I have no idea about PB DAV. Yes, it is too early to think about his interest .Telugu is compulsory in State Board. If you are okay with it, pl seek admission in SSC school. Your son will have to learn telugu from scratch to cope up with his peers. Telugu is taught from UKG , i think in SSC.

You could also try in ICSE schools like Johnsons Grammar in Sec'bad , Sherwood , HPS, Gitanjali or Shiv Shivani which is a bit far else opt for DPS Diamond Point or Nacharam (CBSE)  in Sec'bad or Sadhu Vaswani International School (SVIS-CBSE) in Kompally. You could also try in St Andrews (CBSE)in Sec'bad.

rgds,
mickey
