Does Exact age really matter for 1st grade kid ?

A bright kid with short of 2 months for CBSE requirement at 1st grade should be be put in 1st grade or have him study in PP2 again ?

Let me ask other way.

Joining Kid for first grade when he is short of 2 months,help him as he is with his age or above age kids?

OR joining him in lower grade boost his skills and may excel as an individual in his class?

OR will he loose confidence as he has to go to PP2 again ?

I would suggest that joining in lower grade is better since it would help child cope with his class better with better motor skills and general improvement maturity that happens with age.

My general philosophy is that child should be at ease esp during early childhood and not see as education as challenge that he has to conquer.
